I empathize with George W Bush. Yes, that’s right, all during the elections I could see myself in George’s shoes. Honestly, I’d have way different policies than the President, but I’d govern about the same. I’d have big grandiose ideas and delegate them into reality. Also while I kill at the stump I would have felt more comforted with a radio feeding me lines while debating, because, as anyone who’s seen me in an Lincoln Douglas round knows, I debate to have fun, not to win. I’m an orator, not a debater, and for that reason I have to give some creds where creds are do. George Bush gives hope for all of us big idea, bad debaters.

There, now that that’s out of my system I can put my Jimmy Carter T-shirt back on, and wear it with pride.
