Well, I got a rejection slip today. Here it is

Thank you for submitting your work to The Pedestal Magazine. We enjoyed reading it but regret that we cannot use it at this time.

We have begun to receive an overwhelming number of excellent submissions. It is exciting to receive so much exceptional work; however, there is also accompanying frustration in that we are simply unable to publish as much as we would like to. Space and budgetary issues force us to acknowledge and conform to certain limitations. Suffice it to say, we wish we could publish more of what we receive.

We wish you the best of luck in placing your work elsewhere and sincerely hope that you will submit other writing to us in the future.
