So, despite him being a Lutheran and his brother being a Lutheran minister, you still leaning towards Obama, Chris? Seems like you -- a techie, anti-war, slightly left-leaning Lutheran -- would be the first in line to cast your vote for him.
I guess it comes down to the fact that I think RP would go too far in shrinking the government, and I think he would sort of be a president without a party, which might mean he'd be ineffective. That said he disavows torture; only he and McCain are willing to do that, so that's a plus. I guess this article (http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200712/obama) really did make me lean Obamaward.
