Reminds me of my little sister when we were kids. Every week each family member picked winners for the NFL football games. She had no idea who was good, who the players were, but she'd often do well.
Her strategy?
Pick the favorite animal/thing. E.g. Eagles vs. Cardinals = Eagles win.
