College Republicans faking being Nader supporters

I wasn't going to write any blog stuff til I got back to Chey town, but this is too much. Anthony, a college Republican at the U of O has made national headlines trying to get Nader on the Oregon Ballot! He is the spiky haired fellow who is smiling.

Here is why Enron didn't go down in Russia

MOSCOW (AP) - Russia's richest man and a major shareholder of his former oil company went on trial Wednesday - confined in a metal cage - on fraud, embezzlement and tax evasion charges that supporters say are politically motivated by the Kremlin.

Former Yukos oil company CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky exchanged glances and sometimes a comforting smile with his elderly parents, Marina and Boris. He also chatted warmly with co-defendant Platon Lebedev inside the cage in Meschchansky district court.

"Everything is OK, you can see for yourselves," Khodorkovsky told Associated Press Television through the bars. Speaking of Lebedev, he said: "We haven't seen each other for almost a year. Now we have a chance to talk - about everything, but mostly our families."

I'm now a Senior! 4.00!!!

My grades got posted on duckweb today. I ended up with a 4.0 this term, 3 A's in Martrydom, History of American Radicalism, and Creative Writing and a Pass in Biblical Poetry. Overall I have a 3.79, which isn't too bad concidering I took 4 of my 6 Hebrew classes graded. So on tap for next term History of Enlightenment, History of Jacksonian America, Islamic Mysticism, and the first of the KIDD creative writing series.
Today I got to my first T+T since winter(think D+D's little Wyoming brother or sister).
Can't think of much else. I am hoping to be a Peer Minister along with teaching Confirmation next year, I'm contemplating writing a passion play titled "A Passion for Historical Critical"

Nancy Reagan and I are both "hippies"

I thought stem cell research was a bi-partisan issue. Having had 4 open heart surguries in my first 20 years of life I'd be down with being able to help future generations with the use of stem cells. I agree it is a tricky issue but Brian C's suggestion that I should have sex with myself because I am a hippie seems out of place.

I won't be doing too many political cartoons because they take so long to load here in Cheyenne.
Really good times today. Went to church, Pastor Sarah was estatic to see me, as was Micah. Micah and I hung out all day, we played a little poker, a little Magic the Gathering (being a nerd isn't something that ever leaves you, it's like riding a bike) little Risk, tried to play pool but the cue ball was gone, and hung out walking the dog and talking. In the morning we will bike some, and then I'll see if I can find other people to hang with, mow the lawn, and also contact the Lutheran Synod for more stuff.

I'm back home in Cheyenne

Went to Berkeley. Nice place, nice people. My only concerns would be price, and acedemics. They don't make you learn Hebrew! Also, it sounds like they are constantly reorganizing. Other than that seems like a nice place. I still need to look at the Seminary in Chicago.

I'm in Berkeley

Went up the Holy Hill and checked out PLTS a bit. Have an appointment with one of their people in the morning. It was amazing. It is up on the highest point overlooking the Bay Area. Wartburg was like a castle, this was like a Hacieda on the highest hill! Man, on looks alone this place gets highest marks (though I haven't seen Chicago yet.)
Seminary. Very very cool.

We got out of Eugene around 2pm. I ended up sleeping for most of the ride. Baby, my little yorkie, was happy to see me. Going to look at PLTS on Friday. San Fran here we come!
