Now I know I was not the intended audience, but I wanted to support this very unique and very needed book topic - "Hearty Masculinity: of Body and Spirit" by Chris Halverson. Frankly, all men would benefit from reading this book, and this is very much a book that I as a woman would want men to read. This book is one of the few beacons against "The Manosphere" and we really need more. AND I got a lot out of it myself! 4.5/10
One quote: "...When ‘Biblical Manhood' involves monster trucks and sword swallowing, when we make boy bibles and girl bibles, one with camo and one with rhinestones, we’re not being more biblical people, were doing a distinctly Christian form of performative masculinity."
